Shopify profit margin is the percentage of revenue that remains after deducting all business expenses. This includes product cost, shipping, payment processing fees, platform fees, and advertising spend.
Net Profit = Selling Price − Product Cost − Shipping − Transaction Fees − Advertising Cost
Profit Margin (%) = (Net Profit ÷ Selling Price) × 100
